Althought I am not a fan of Beemove and don't like to support them, this summer event is actually much better than the MCL one was. The minigames are really easy and you can easily cheat the system by using the same old F5 trick to retry infinitely in case you are close to messing up (remember, you must reload the page before the game ends and the shell count pops up, otherwise it does not work), so you can actually get 20 shells each day without any effort and every 4 days get a second item in the same day with the exploration mini-game. The 2 hours wait isn't that unbearable (not ideal either, but tolerable) and you can complete all daily 5 attempts without having to wake up or go to sleep at inhuman hours.
I have almost 2 outfits completed (I miss 5 more items in my second outfit) and that while I lost about 5-6 shells in the olympics minigame in the first days of the event as I sucked at it at first. There are like 15 more days left, so I am more than sure that I'll finish all 3 even before the end date without having spent any gold or real money!
In conclusion, as much as I hate to admit it, the event is totally doable and fairly easy this time around, so for those hating on it, we can't blame Buttmove this time around folks, if you can't complete the event in the given time, it just means you as a player just suck at the mini-games and didn't care at least trying the refresh method for free retries and/or you are willingly skipping daily attempts.

Btw, if it helps for the exploration thingy: just spam Bamboo forest, Tori of Memories and Hill entrance, I found these to have the highest drop rate for the 3 grooming items.

Thanks for the tip for exploration.The low energy places like the Beach and Easter Plain were the only drop event places for me so far.

As for the doability of the event, it is doable unless you're not on any other server except US and French one. On the others the situation is so tragic, I doubt ppl will bother playing it til the end. The lagging there is so huge, you can't even take your companion back from exploration.

So us here are the lucky ones.

Huh. Weird, I was able to do stuff in the Spanish and German servers fine without any lag a few minutes before I edited my previous post, so I don't know about that.

That was a problem for me earlier, a few days ago, but it's working fine now for me. I have no idea what's going on, maybe some people are still experiencing that horrible lag while others are doing okay, or something like that, but whaaaaat...?

I have to say that this event is doable and easy to acomplish if you follow the tips given by the users.

And several pieces of the outfits are quite appealing and interesting. I really liked the outfits.

So thank you Beemov team for this doable and achieveable event. Thank you for doing an event that the players could complete.

So I put in a ticket to support about accidentally hitting the replay option (I only play on the app and the buttons are so close!) and literally just got told to be more careful. And then when I asked why there isn’t a failsafe option they said people complained about clicking too many options... I mean, I’m not surprised, but I’m also extremely disappointed that their customer service is so curt.

Are they serious? Like really, people are purposely selecting the more risky option? Could they name WHO exactly complained about it? Cuz that sounds bullcrap to me.

》I also clicked it by accident, and couldn't believe that my gold was gone without a warning. I really think it's mean. Nobody would click that button on purpose.. 40 gold down the drain.

Welp. That's true, this morning when I was playing the minigames - important to note that I always get 2 shells whenever I play it, I lose one or two lives each, usually one life - I lost 2 lives but got 2 shells on my American, French, and Spanish accounts but I LOST on my German account somehow like Beemoov why??? You have to make a difficult event even harder???

Not sure about this.
For me today's race game is much harder too, like the obstacles now come more frequently. Didn't sweat on this one till today. So my guess is they "fixed" it.

After many many years on the search I finally found the two backgrounds from last year, and I found piscxolot on the german server literally crossed my fingers and got him 

I noticed the things get better if u search on the map places that consume 25 energy or more

Hmmm, for me it was the other way around. Three times I encountered companions were the 15-20 places.

I hope this year's Halloween Event includes the map. I love many of the past outfits and I really hope to collect more outfit pieces with exploration, and hopefully the drop rates wont be ridiculously rare.

I still love Eldarya though.

Might be a sucker for angsty stories.

I don't wanna start anything. but this comment is just so classist that I had to jump in. Have you heard of jobs? Assuming you're in a timezone where the game resets while you're asleep, then you would only have that time after work to play. 5 rounds with 2 hours in between = requires 10 hours of you being up after you get home from work in order to complete your daily rounds. That's practically impossible. I'm actually in a situation currently where I'm not working and supported by my parents, so I am able to complete this event quite easily. That doesn't mean I would blame players in less fortunate situations than my own for not being able to complete the event on time, just because I can. You shouldn't either.

Beemoov could have easily made this event more doable for all players if they had made it 3 rounds/day, with a proportionally higher shell reward. But they didn't. That's on them, not the players.

@Celosia I never insulted her, I disagreed with her. My entire point is that for many people the event is not doable for free because they simply don't have the time in their day to complete all their rounds (i.e. literally most people with full-time jobs, including essential workers putting their lives on the line during a pandemic who probably turn to this game for some relief)

I'm appreciative of the fact that one of the outfits isn't behind a paywall this time around, but the fact that they've done that at all for so many events in the past is kinda messed up.

First, most of the times that I lost the games were because of bugs and glitches, and there is no refreshing that works when it happens.

And second, assuming that if you don't play a round is because you willingly skipped it is just nonsense. I have all day long to play them since I am studying for some exams, and I usually do 3 rounds in the morning and 2 in the afternoon, but that's just because I study at home with the computer. And even with that, many times I can't play the rounds because I have other things to do and can't turn on the computer in the afternoon. You can't just assume that someone who doesn't play some rounds is because they don't want to.

And Celosia, of course it's doable and better than having a pay-wall, but the issue MarinaLou was talking about is the way it was writen. As well as you find MarinaLou's comment insulting, we found Saby-chan's insulting.

Unfortunately nowadays people like to be hating on smth, where in reality none of you guys, neither Saby-chan, nor MarinaLou insulted anyone, actually. The phrase above does not imply any insult really, cuz if it did, we would always be insulting each other every day like that. It implied sarcasm, yes it did, not insult though.
So please stop thinking everyone out there is out to get you

Now, as for the event, despite the veeeeery long rounds, I mean c'mon 5 rounds of shell 5 times per day 30 days long is TOO BORING. They could easily think of another minigame, so you don't get as bored. The problem though is more serious with the bugs and lags, ppl on other servers couldn't complete their games because of Beemoov's irresponsibility for the whole past week! And no one compensated or apologized even. That clearly shows BM team doesn't give a [insert your own].

Yesss this game is sooo booorringgggg. I'd love it if we could knock all the rounds out at once. It's just so tedious playing the same two repetitive games over and over again. TBH I forgot about this event after the first few days and just got back into it this week, so i'm not gonna be able to get all the outfits. If I get one Ill be happy though because the past few events I havent even come close to one (looking at you Music Event)

I think someone mentioned this before, but if you accidently click/tap on the time skip it doesn't warn you, just takes your gold. I'm salty right now, I had less than 20 seconds on the hide and seek minigame and I accidently hit the time skip button. No warning, no nothing, just took my gold... for 20 seconds.

Happend to me the other day. I didn't even notice til later when I looked at my gold count and something wasn't right. So I decided to store my gold in form of hand of Midas since now on.
