First time I encountered an event companion in exploration today.
I don't think it's coincidence that everyone around the same time has either problems with the minigames or ends up stumbling upon a background / pet.

I totally understand. I still have a chance to get all 3 outfits, but it's such a chore I think I'll give up. I have blobbiathan, so no need for regarius either, especially that I don't even know it's adult stats yet , and there is no way I throw real money at this game, since they try to scam me with "40 gold for not waiting" thingy.

And yeah, they can't get the drop rates right, for some reason. I understand they don't want them too high so people buy some outfits from the shop, but palm leaf drop rates must be a mistake, when compared to the other bait, I just can't explain it logically.

I haven't been able to find the food for the last minigame in like 2 days (my companion has 130 energy and I always try the 10 energy spots, been using pretty much all of its energy every day).

Is this a bug or am I just that unlucky?

Dunno, maybe try other locations? Some people say higher energy locations have better drop rates, but could be just randomness.

I'm not exactly sure what I said that was confusing. In the review, I said I am F2P and have done everything that a F2P player can do. I don't spend money on Beemoov so I'm not buying anything, which you MUST do in this case to 100% the Event. I'm not doing that, so as far as being F2P, I am done everything there is to do.

Try the bamboo forest its a gold mine , I got there 3 companions and the backgrounds from last year , but the outfits from last year are rare I found probably 3 pieces everything else I found on the market for under 100 maana sometimes even 1 maana lol

I play on the app and have been fighting the support team because I accidentally hit the wrong button (they put them like 2 millimeters away from each other!), and they’ve mostly just told me to be careful and that I used gc to advance in the game so they won’t refund it. There is no pop up because “users complained about pushing too many buttons”.

Nope, all three outfits can be unlocked for free. Only the Regarius is behind a paywall this year.

I have finished the event! Finally caught the Piscxolot, and got all the outfit pieces I liked. I am not crazy about getting every single little thing, so happy with what I managed to get.

Although I wish I had the illustration, it should be easy to find online - therefore, not too bugged about that either.

Next, I understand that the game has certain items that require payment to get - but after all, don't most games do that anyways? I think it's totally normal, understandable (for business) and they have every right to do it.

One thing I don't like about the game it's how easy it is for people to lose their gold coins and how they can't get a refund. From all the complaints on here and other places on the forum, I think the creators should seriously consider changing the system e.g. by adding a confirmation pop-up.

Last few things...loved the outfits. Wished there was a black variant of the marvelous manta hair. Exploration drop rates have been mostly low and that was disappointing.

I feel your pain, though, on the format. Unfortunately, it's not uncommon for events to have some sort of paid bonus. So many mobile games and web-based games have that format.

But based on that criteria, you haven't "finished" an event for over a year, since there has been some sort of paid item during every event, just saying

I must have just assumed one outfit was P2W since that's usually the case. But it is still a pain that they have long stopped making Events finishable by F2P players. I don't mind there being Bonuses for paying players but it constantly being the case for Events annoys me. In my mind, Events should at least be completable for everyone.

It couldn't be enough that the Events themselves get more unfun each time. Nor was I crazy about the outfits or Companions this time around, either. I guess I'll just hope the next one is better...

I don't know what happed, but I am suddenly running into Pinchou while exploring constantly (not that I have the bait for it). If anyone is wondering, I am finding it at the Mountain Peak in the Jade Coast. Not sure if that spot just has a better rate or if they finally raised the rates on companions.

After two thirds of a month playing this event I'm experiencing burnout.

I know that there is no way I'm going to complete the event, because I missed out of a few days or missed some of the minigames at the start of the event because I kept forgetting about it or didn't have the time. I won't finish even if I complete all the mini games everyday for the remainder of the event, and I won't be buying the shells. And honestly I kind of just don't care any more.

At least with the MCL month long event there was a variety of minigames that were shuffled around, and, colour me shocked, I actually enjoyed the MCL event for the most part.

But having to play the same two games 5 times a day, day after day if you want to complete the event, has just drained me and somewhat stressed me out. The games have become so tedious, and I'm not really a fan of the having to log in multiple times a day, especially with such short intervals in between.

It would have been nicer if there was more variety, or even if this type of event was shorter. If the event was shorter I would probably feel more invested and less drained.
