Is it just me or are there more obstacles in the mini game today?

Yup, the joke is, my other account (which is like on lvl 8 because I wanted to start a new route and don't wanna bother with replays) with a low luck Sabali is more lucky on findings stuff than my major 28lvl acc with 334 luck of Hanajoo. Odds are in no one's favor. THERE IS NO LOGIC.

Omigosh yes I know right!! My German account has a Sabali with 38 luck, and I've been finding more event items with that than all of my other server accounts, which have better Companions with better luck

Based on my personal experience, if our companion is still a baby, its luck to find items is quite bad.
Sadly, we need to wait until the companion evolved first before the explorations become more successful.. (compared to the infant stage)
But, I cannot deny that the luck system is just a mess & sometimes can be unreliable :\
I actually find it good that the drop rates are the same for everyone in events, no matter what companion stats you have. This is especially important for including new players who should also have the chance to get a good amount of stuff lke others.
It's also nice for those who like companions that happen to not have high luck stats or can't/don't want to afford a legendary one.
That the drop rates seem to be extremely low for all of us this time, is another issue and I hope that it's being changed soon. I think they already changed the frequency of the baits and foods for the new companions, since those were not once seen early on in the event, but now I find a lot of baits and food but no companion anymore.
I honestyl don't like when they change stuff slightly (but very noticeably) but don't adress it.

No, the thing is that the drop rate is HIGHER for lower luck stats. I wouldn't mind if it were the same, but BEEMOOV WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? *sigh*

Yeah, the lower the luck, the more items it seems to find. It doesn't make sense. My blobby is having a hard time finding items when it's one of the companions with the highest luck.
Do you think it's possible that beemoov programs drop rates to fluctuate throughout an event on purpose?
Like, it spiked to be really good the other day
Now today it's dropped back down.
Do they program it to be a good drop rate like one day after 3 or 4 days? So we complain during that time, then get the one good day, then it drops again for a few days? So they give us little crumbs that's just enough to keep people from rage quitting
It's not something I ever considered before but the fact that there was clearly a good and consistent drop rate yesterday or the day before, and now nothing is coming back it makes me wonder...
OR I wonder if it's possible that only X percent of players get a decent drop rate each day, and if you're not included in today's percent then you get almost nothing, but when you are included in the percent you get stuff almost every time.
If a system like that is possible, then it'd make it harder to argue that the drop rate is crap because there'd always be people to be like "not for me today."
Just wondering-ments in the ways they could've rigged parts of the event to make it harder to get last year's items in order to force people to spend tons of maana on those items and thusly buy maana from the bank even if they don't care about the bank companion.

Nah, why would they do something that elaborate, if setting drop rates across the board works just fine.
Ofc they tampered with it (and maybe will do it some more yet). At the beginning you couldn't get anything other than mini-game stuff, and then there was bait bonanza. Unfortunately, equipment is still really hard to get.
Alright so, the drop rate is awful, no surprise there, however, in terms of getting bait, companion food, and the items for the companion mini-game, my companion has been consistent in bringing me those. However, in terms of equipment, they are basically nonexistent; as mentioned earlier by some of the players, attaining an event equipment is similar to getting crumbs.
That's interesting though, is it only for the foreign Eldarya that common companions find event items? My friend has a Corko with a 50 luck and it's struggling to find items on her U.S account (her only account).Kaitlynne wrote
*sigh* Unfortunately, that's true. Granted, there are some on and off days, but about the off days: My US account Grookhan with 114 luck, barely gets ANYTHING! My German account Sabali with literally 38 luck gets stuff like crazy! My Spanish account Jipunku with 58 luck struggles to get items, but still gets more items than my US account. And my French account Corko with 46 luck gets some items - not that many, but not too little either. So yeah, I agree with that theory about on and off days.

The event is... fine? It's not fun and feels like a chore more than anything so far (with the having to log in every 2 hours thing). I have no issues with the mini-games, but it feels like 2 shells for a perfect score is a slap in the face. I play the games on the app, which is much easier than the computer. My companion is finding enough event items, but no companion or decor. Also, Beemoov continues to confuse me with that prices it charges for things. Resetting the clock for your games starts at 40G, which is insane when a shell costs 1G. You could literally buy more shells than you could earn in a game. Which I guess is their way of trying to get people to buy things and spend real money, but... gross.
Overall, this event is just not fun. More of a task than an event. I miss when you could rely on the Summer event to be the good one. Anyone remember last year? Or any of the previous years? Good times. Plus, you could finish days in advance without spending real money. I miss that.

I am enjoying he summer event but I am having a problem using my shells to get pieces of the outfits. Why is that? Why can I not use my shells to purchase the outfit items? HELP! Thank you.
