I've encountered the same at least twice these past 2 days.

Me too, and I wasted 3 energy potions to try to get the sponges, but when I did get them it did not count. So I have lost 6 shells today...

I have not found any sponges for days! I have run out of energy potions and I have not even seen any companions. Has anyone else had this problem?

Since no one has seen the companions I wonder if their locations are locked to specific areas, and you have to explore there to find them.
I don't care to find them but it's just a thought for those who are looking. Maybe you need to find the specific area they're located. I've seen at least two different eggs on the market for the crab one, so someone has encountered them.

That's not how that bug works. It has something to do with the way you click on it (double or triple click?). It doesn't matter which round you are in, you can trigger it by clicking on the correct shell the 'wrong' way.

Actually, the shell gets bigger if you click on it a split second or so before you "normally" click on it. At least, that's how it worked for me. And the shell only gets big for one round.

When I played the shell mini game the correct shell always stays big throughout every round, at least for me it does. I don’t know if it was coded that way or not but it really helps with getting the answer right by being able to differentiate between the shells.

I don't understand...you're supposed to be able to find the outfit items in the map, right? While exploring, right? The ONLY thing I was able to get until now related to the event is one background image and a companion...I haven't found a single outfit item. Not even one! The exploration at this point is just bad, people that are complaining they only got the background , man I wish, from the first day to this day I only got 1 thing, 1 , the feraless captain hair, and I didnt even notice cause it just looks so bad that I thought its just another useless thing from the map.

The companions, found him once and I told myself I wont catch him, guess what I didnt, whats the point of the bait if I catch the companion every blue moon.

The bait is so expensive you can buy it for 1 maana on the market place, and most wont even buy it cause they found so much bait its maxed, but guess what no companion

The market place is the only good thing I found the trident for 30 manna , well that is something
