For the minigame, I am not writing it down. I've found it much more useful to use voice recording. I say out loud the colors of the crystals as I see them appear, while I voice record. Then I play it back and I can just click on them as I hear myself saying.
My memory isn't bad but I'm studying for exams and can't really afford to stress out about some shining crystals xD

I hope this advice can help someone!

EDIT: I record with the cell phone though, and I play in the PC. It is like 6 seconds recorded, play it back for other 6 and you're all good with some extra seconds  xD

Well the mini game seemed easy enough yesterday but now today's thing is just steadily worse, a lot harder. I can only imagine if it keeps getting going up what it's going to look like at the end because I think I counted 8 colors on the first one I did this morning and in all honesty, that's really crap of you to do. But then again, I suppose if everyone can do the mini game with 5 color being the hardest you wouldn't make money, right? I swear I am so sick of these broken, clearly rigged to make money games that you release for these events. EVENTS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FUN! I don't know if you've forgotten that or you just plain don't care.

I really wanted those crystal pants, in the shadow version they loked sooo cool, but the colors are horrible! The two colors they've chosen for each combination don't go well together at all, and the color samples don't relate to the actual colors.

The piano is in the shop now, but only for GOLD COINS Dx

Oh goodness.  My short term memory is so poor so I've been scribbling on paper to have any sort of chance of getting a few crystals each day.  I tend to prefer events that don't stress me out....

I just write letters as the crystals shine, I don't think recording is useful, at least for me.

That's what I mean, if you genuinely can't remember and fail the round, that's all you get. They should at least have 1-2 second chances per day.

I just use my phone and record my laptop when it says "Listen", then play it back and tap the Crystals. I do basically only get one chance for it, though.

I thought this minigame would be a lot of fun, and yesterday it was. I love music-themed events and I'm not too bad at memory games, but this is a little stressful. At least if you click "listen again" it resets the timer, but it's still annoying. And the wait times keep going up, which I thought would reset each day.

If you have to unlock all pieces of the outfit to get the illustration, then I'm probably not going to get it this time because I missed a crystal yesterday, which is honestly kind of sad, I love seeing the illustrations. I'm not about to spend real-world money on this game though, which I know is what they're trying to make us do.

It's almost amazing how absurdly hard the second day is.  And the first day, it got steadily harder, from remembering three to four and so on (from what I recall) but the fact that it seems like the difficulty will keep going up with each correct round, the wait timer keeps doubling with each round, but the minigame timer *doesn't* go up to compensate for the lengthening game?  Absolutely absurd and it's amazing how transparent they're being with the moneygrabbing.

I actually really loved the moon accessory and I was looking forward to this outfit but if they expect perfection, seems like I've already lost :<

people who are worried that missing 1 or 2 crystals means it's impossible to complete we actually have 11 days
11th-1 day
12th-2 days
13th-3 days
14th-4 days
15th-5 days
16th-6 days
17th-7 days
18th-8 days
19th-9 days
20th-10 days
21st-11 days

so you can miss 5 crystals total and still make enough without spending money. But it's still very small window for error

nope, you can try reporting it in the assistance forum in case it's supposed to be, but nothing in any of the description of the event suggests the baits are in exploration. It might be exclusive to the shop.

I'll do my assessment of the event at a later time, however- is it a glitch or...? I went on the market and saw two CHOSEN ONE jewelry (even though it looks like a tattoo) being sold. Does that mean it can be bought from the shop and sold on the market, or is it a glitch? Or could it be found via exploration.

Yeah, this is honestly my biggest problem with the event. Like the mini-game is stressful, but manageable. But the exploration? Unacceptable. This is my second day of spending 150 energy on exploration and I've run into all of the event companions multiple times, but it's clear they're forcing us to pay for the bait. So 350 maana for the CHANCE of catching it while spending 30 maana/day on food just to be able to run into it in the first place. And I don't really care about last years outfit, but I've only found like 3 pieces so far. What's the point?

Yeah, over two days of using a Legendary Companion, I've found all of 3 outfit pieces. Ran into plenty of Companions but 0 bait. I'm convinced it can't be dropped on Explorations.

My Candilla has found 7 event outfit pieces: hairstyle x 4, shoes x 1 and body x 2. I've also seen last year's companions several times. The new one only once.

Third day, first round: Now is 7 crystals sounds and the tempo goes more fast. 30 minutes of waiting for the next round this game is obviously made to frustrate you and make you buy the 500 coin bundle so you kill two birds from one shot.
