Firstly, even though I haven't bought any of the gold coin outfits myself, I also thought that that it's unfair that it's been released for free. Felt like they were trying to make up for having so few outfits in this event, and they thought they'd please us by giving us a chance to get a previously exclusive outfit for free through exploration. A better idea would've been to get out their old files for e.g. past Easter or Valentine's events' outfits and play around with a hue and saturation filter (to give 'em a Halloween vibe) or just recolour old Halloween outfits, and release those instead of the same old items that now oversaturate the market.

I'm also upset because of the Stained-Glass Widow outfit. Last year i spent my last gold coins (which i got free as the christmas event bug compensation from 2016) for this outfit. And this year i spent sooo much mana on Hand of Midas to be able to purchase more outfit pieces.

Also the recolor thing is good idea, but i don't think they would make it.

The thing that sucks for me about all things being everywhere on the map is that means the companions are also everywhere. I couldn't care less about the companions so last year I could avoid companion locations and never waste an exploration on an encounter. I could maximize my clothing search. This year that's impossible.

Overall, I think this event has been a lot of fun. I liked having daily missions and how the landscape was incorporated into it. However, I am sad that older outfits were not available in the shop. I had been planning on purchasing some pieces that I didn't have the money for last year. I'm also disappointed that the exclusive outfit from last year is now free. I didn't end up buying it personally, but I can understand how that would feel like a slap to the face. Makes me wonder if I should bother spending money on outfits in future events if the same thing is going to happen.

Hello! Time for Undifferent's Event Review™

Outfits:
Really? One new map outfit, one outfit that's basically a gold coin outfit but you get 1 free copy, and one bank outfit. 3 outfits total. 3. Three. Tres. III. 三. Halloween & Christmas are supposed to be the map events, outfits galore, but nah.

For the outfits themselves, the necromancer outfit is pretty good. Love the sleeves and the top, currently wearing the crown. Fortune teller outfit has a LOT of small elements (hmmm wonder why that is) but I like the cape, the hair, and the cards.  If I get the blue cards it'll be fun to try and make Persona characters haha. Finally, the angel outfit doesn't seem worth it in my opinion. The wings look a bit weird, clothes aren't anything to get excited over, only thing that looks good is the hair.

Companions:
1 map companion, 1 companion from the mission... Don't know what they look like, but the concepts seem cool. However, having to get all the illustrations seems like a rather high requirement for the mission companion, especially if they're apparently 150 each.

The Story/Mission:
Eh. I've given up on the story aspect of this game so I don't have strong feelings for these characters or any knowledge of what's been going on. Seeing the hate for Miko around here, seems like a bad move to make saving her the focus of the story.

As for the story itself, it seems really weird? Like we're just suddenly in this place like "oh miko's missing we're in halloween land to save her". Then only later we learn she was kidnapped by a witch and there's some banishment ritual thing we have to do??? Feels abrupt. Like it's trying to do this in media res and give information as we go but instead just making me feel like I'm missing something or a lot of somethings. No idea what's going on here.

Map:
...Why are you hiding the item counts from us. Why is the drop rate so reduced. Why are items able to be found pretty much everywhere. Also, as someone who does not want to spend money on this game, I'm happy to have the stained glass outfit, but it's super unfair for everyone who paid money last year to get it. You couldn't take the time to make another map outfit or two to fill out the map a bit more instead of doing this to try and cover up the lack of offerings here?

Also, in the matter of including previous year items or not, if I was someone who hated getting garbage clothes, I feel I still would've preferred getting 2017 items I don't want than getting nothing due to abysmal drop rates.

Overall:
Disappointed, but not surprised.

Beemove, I have to congratulate to you... because you managed to ruin the Halloween event too.
You probably thought that the summer event was too good, and you feel the need to balance the level with this one.

Let's be clear this even isn't the worst that you subjected us to, nonetheless it sucks.

And I say this will probably the first event that I won't be able to finish... unless I pay a ridiculously high amount of MO to buy illustration. And you know what is worse? I don't care. I'm totally indifferent, rather than frustrated, sad, etc...

I don't even know why I wrote this when I know you don't/won't even care.

Does anyone know what time zone they're using? I think I remember someone saying it was the French one, but I just want to make sure.

I think that the story is really getting interesting so far ^_^ I've also been really lucky with the clothing drops for the fortune teller outfit (which I ♡).

Overall,I'm really liking this event so far and am a little surprised about all the negative comments about it. Just imo, but I think it's much better than the summer event...

Thank you for another generally good event, and for staying clear of alchemy. I particularly enjoy the outfits and the drop rates from exploration, however, I do wish it was easier to capture the familiar.

Here goes my only complaint; maybe 20 gold coins would've been a reasonable cost to advance forward without waiting? Seriously, 100g? That's a lot for those of us who do spend money on this game, and it is very unfair to those that don't.

Overall, as this was another good event, I have high hopes for Christmas

I love the second and third outfit to bad you have to spend real money to get it the top and the flower crown for the first one I like a lot I hate that the skirt has handprints on it I love the pet that you get when your all done with the story but the bird im not a fan of

so you literally cannot layer the fortune teller dress on any underwear. the moment you put the dress on it renders your underwear invisible. If you send the dress all the way behind guardian then she's literally naked with no underwear on.

I wanted to layer it with the stained glass widow underwear but that's not possible.

I like the event.
Pretty cool to have a story to go along with it but honestly I preferred just the simple exploration map for Halloween.

Im upset with the outfits. The special ones for this year are pretty and I like how you can find the Stained Glass Widow in exploration instead of having to pay only gold coins for it.

However, I am pretty upset that only last year's exploration outfits are available. I like those outfits but I was looking foreword to being able to find more succubus wings and some of the other pieces here and there to complete my collection or to hopefully get the color that I wanted.

It seems Im not the only one who is upset about this.

I'm annoyed that you can only find last year's outfits via exploration but not from other past Halloween events. Since I missed previous Halloween outfits I was happy to get a chance to get them. This year they are removed.This bites. I was hoping to get more Halloween outfits besides the new one. I'm both annoyed at Beemoov and the players complaining last year of "too many items from past events I don't want them REEEEEEE!!!" Yes I'm blaming the players too for this. Buttmoov listened and now look. They took them off. Hope you guys are happy with less items snd making them appear less -_-

you say one thing then say something else, you're contradicting yourself. and let me tell you, had every (almost) old halloween event item been there you woudlve had the hardest time getting the exact item youd want not just last years but this years too thats why as far as i remember last year people where asking if theyd remove some of the older items so it doesnt get so hard to get newer items afterall its not their or our fault that YOU missed the past years event (which btw runs for a long time so unless you didnt play then too bad for you) beemoov will never be able to accommodate everyone and its dumb to think they could. sure you can rant but dont make this anyone elses fault but yours for simply not playing during it etc. ''oh look at me im throwing a hissy fit like a child cause I didnt get anything from the previous event! oh look at me! not trying to be rude but thats what you're doing. i think beemoov is doing their best, granted its not great half the time but at least theyre TRYING to listen to the players and yes with all the old halloween items it got SUPER cluttered. so go right ahead and blame the players becauase you missed the old events and now for the first time dont get the chacne to get them. its totally our fault.
