The rescue mission is just the story, if that is what you were looking for.

Hello! It's my first Halloween event, and I must say that I am very satisfied with the new clothes and the event!
I would have liked to have been able to recover the older outfits like the Starry Witch, I had already seen the colors I fell in love with but I was disappointed to find the empty boutique.
I saw that other familiars in the library (like Rawist or Sgarkellogy for example) have also been unlocked, but even these are not available for purchase in boutique, or available for exploration, I would have liked to take them.

It's been fixed and is working now thank you! Missed the first few days of he event though, looks like some bug where my game just didn't update itself

I guess for the most part I'm happy with this event. The one thing that I dissappointed with is that this years and last years outfits are the only ones we can find on the map, and even more dissappointed that they are the only ones available to purchase in the store. I probably wouldn't have minded having to buy the old event outfit pieces that I wanted from the store, if they weren't available to get through exploration.
I put off buying some of them from the market because I thought they would, at least, be available in the store for this years event. Some of the prices were ridiculous and I knew it would cost me less getting them from the store.

Hello!

First of all, I want to thank the Eldarya team for this event and for their hard work.

I'm enjoying the mini-episode way too much, it's easily my favourite part about this event! I love discovering more about this world, and the interactions between the characters are so fun to read. The story is immersive, the graphics are gorgeous, and i love how we get to finally experience the halloween world first hand and learn more about its lore.

On the other hand, what I dislike the most about this event are the prices in the shop. I felt very disappoined when I found the necromancer outfit only available in gold. 

I really hope we get another mini episode for christmas!

At this point, Beemoov not caring doesn't even surprise me anymore.

Also, I just feel like instead of having alchemy, the GC only items in the shop are just another way to make them more money. Yes, you can find them in the exploration too, but the drop rate is quite bad and there is no guarantee you get the item you were looking for.

I for one am in LOVE with this year's outfits. The past few events were meh for me but this one is great!

What in the heck are they doing with the illustration requirement?

It's so vague that we were forced to buy the illustration in the end, like after 9 days of playing.
Not even a "paid replay" button at certain point to undo the scene when selecting a wrong choice. (I said "paid" because that's what they do here).

To make things worse, the drop rate is not looking good compared to  previous Halloween events & they decided to make them scattered quite randomly.

After playing the event some more I've also noticed that the drop rate is low, my companion has 394 luck but I'm really just getting food, I've gotten a few items, and there have been two times so far where I got nothing. exploration is kind of a let down compared to last year.

I also can't believe that the shop is so empty. It's unfortunate that people won't be able to purchase some past companions or even past outfits.

Lastly the mission has a lot of dialog choices, if you're going to reward us with illustrations and bonus items based on our choices, you should let us know when we've gotten a choice wrong and give us the opportunity to try again (like in a few hours or with maana) I've been using a walkthrough because I think it's kind of ridiculous to tell us we got something wrong after the fact. I ended up with the angel costume because I needed to purchase maana for other things, but on it's own I don't think it's worth the price.

Overall I still enjoy the mission aspect and I'm glad they brought back exploration, but it seems like a lot was held back and that's disappointing. Especially since Halloween is arguably one of Eldarya's biggest events of the year.

If anyone has the answers for the Illustrations (or at least Nevra's) could someone message me where to find them)? There's no way to know if I'm getting these right or wrong except for me still sitting at 0/3 for everything

I feel like I only ever post on the forum when I have something to complain about. lol. 

WARNING, this is a LONG rant

The mini episode? Huge yes from me. The lack of a "oh no, you chose the wrong dialogue" notification? No. On My Candy Love's event episode we're told if we chose the wrong option (and our Candy "never sees the light of day again" or something like that). If you can do it on MCL, then why not on Eldarya, Beemoov?

On MCL we get three free outfits, and no bank outfit, which I think explains why Eldarya's event feels like another cash grab. MCL's event doesn't require us to spend our irl money, if I had to guess I'd say that it's probably Beemoov trying to please their customers so that they end up playing that new otome game (Moonlight Lovers or whatever?) of theirs that they're advertising with the use of the MCL event. They don't wanna make the MCL event poop or else the stigma from the event could carry over and people wouldn't be willing to give Moonlight Lovers a try. Or whatever. I don't know.
Back to Eldarya- the amount of gold coin items in the shop, illustrations apparently costing 150 gold if you failed to get them for free, the bank outfit that requires you to buy 1500 recharge points (whatever recharge points are???).

This event's a cash grab, just dressed up better than the alchemy events were, and with elements that we're already fond of (the same exploration map, but with awful drop rates, and the event episode- a feature that I personally loved- that requires you to throw major gold coins at if you choose the wrong dialogue).

I understand they're a business. I know they need money to pay their bills and employees, but I feel like lowering their prices (especially for event shop items) would be beneficial.
I dunno about y'all, but I'm the sort of person who likes to buy as many colour variations as possible. I would buy gold coins if I could get more out of them, but I'm not paying £3 for three items, just so later I can regret not spending that £3 on a different colour variation. Kinda sad that I wouldn't spend even £3 on this website when I've easily spent over £50 on GaiaOnline this month alone. (Why? Because I get more for my money, and if I change my mind about what I bought I can always sell it on the marketplace, whereas I'm stuck with any gold coin purchases on this site and can't make my virtual money back.)

Also, something that I have mentioned about a previous event- stick to a proper colour scheme, please. Like seriously. Please. I love the minty green version of the Necromancer outfit, but no point in me getting it when I don't have any other items in that colour. I wouldn't know how to style it. I love collecting golden blonde wigs- and this event doesn't have one. There's either a pale blonde Sibylle or a ginger Sibylle. No golden blonde Sibylle.

I wish the artists behind Eldarya's clothes designs could just agree on one tone of gold and stick to the same palette.
In most of the events the outfits will use a new tone of gold, and when you try and put together all the different gold items you've collected they just look mismatched.

For example:

There's items like Warrior's Maid Arm Jewelry and Secret Ingredients Bracelets that are a light golden yellow with something that looks like a mix of UC Berkeley Gold and Cal Poly Pomona Gold. There's Love Goddess Lingerie which to me looks like Goldenrod. (I'm just guessing right now, too lazy to actually check and compare in Photoshop.) Recent items such as the mermaid outfit and the Queen of Cups outfit use either Golden Brown for the darker gold items, or a darker version of Crayola Gold with pinky-orange tones for the lighter gold options. And the shading is always so different-sometimes the gold tones are all nicely blended, sometimes they're a bit flatly shaded with harsh highlights/reflections. Same for the golden blonde hair. This event's Sia hair doesn't even have a true golden blonde option.

And don't get me started on the many different shades of pink used in each event. Sometimes I feel like Eldarya's artists are intent on going through every possible shade before they re-use their palettes.

I know this is such a petty thing to complain about but I only play Eldarya for the dressing up aspect of the game. I go for a baby pink + gold theme. It prevents me from feeling tempted to buy all the different colour variations of outfits, helps me save money. I collect event exclusive items in those specific colours as they should, theoretically, go together with all my other pink + gold items. I should be able to create cohesive outfits. I can't. Sucks.

I'm not even surprised that yet another event has left me disappointed. Plus y'all be smoking some good stuff if you think I'd trust you with my money when you can't even keep my password safe. (Oh yeaaaa, I still haven't forgotten about the data breach y'all had back in August 2018, and that you guys only found out about in February 2019 when the hacker tried to sell your 90 million users' information for 1,560 Euros.)

I'm enjoying the event so far.

I'm delighted that most of the old Halloween items have been removed from the map - I only wish the 2018 items were gone too.  I really hated spending most of my time during events trying to get rid of items I don't want, only for my companion to keep bringing them back again.

I think the old event items should only be available in the Shop  (but for either Maana or Gold) or on the Market, so that anyone who missed something can complete their collection, but they're not clogging up the map for people who want to find the new items.

I do have a couple of complaints, however.  I'm not very happy that the outfit I bought with Gold last year is now free.  It's very unfair, if I knew I'd be able to get it free this year, I wouldn't have paid for it last year.  Another kick in the teeth from Beemoov.

Also, where is the second chance gauge?  I just got nothing from an exploration.

I completely agree about the colour thing, it drives me nuts on both MCL and Eldarya - it's like they're trying to stop us having fun with mixing and matching! 

A perfect example is the 'Night Feelings' outfit, which can't be matched with the 'Radiant Skies' piercing, even though it is the same design.

Firstly, even though I haven't bought any of the gold coin outfits myself, I also thought that that it's unfair that it's been released for free. Felt like they were trying to make up for having so few outfits in this event, and they thought they'd please us by giving us a chance to get a previously exclusive outfit for free through exploration. A better idea would've been to get out their old files for e.g. past Easter or Valentine's events' outfits and play around with a hue and saturation filter (to give 'em a Halloween vibe) or just recolour old Halloween outfits, and release those instead of the same old items that now oversaturate the market.

That would be a good way of dealing with the colour problem, in my opinion. Instead of getting last year's items plus this year's outfit through exploration, they could release recolours of old outfits in colour palettes that were used in recent episodes or events. Gives us "new" clothes, allows us to mix and match, something new and exciting to trade for in the market, could even encourage bank sales as people would want to buy energy potions to explore more or to buy maana to afford the new recolours from the market, etc. Someone at Beemoov hire me please. (just kidding, I don't wanna be a part of that dumpster fire)

The Night Feelings outfit just confuses me. I feel like the outfit uses too many colours that are too different from each other, and the top and bottoms clash with the tattoo and the shoes. No surprise to me that the piercing wouldn't match. Maybe some people would know how to style it, but I definitely wouldn't.
