So even though most people have already pointed out most things about the event imma just put my 2 cents

Drop Rate: for me personally i actually had a decent drop rate i only ever had maybe 1 or 2 times in a row at most where she wouldnt find anything then she would find something bout 3 times with 2 items each and it would go back to not finding something again. i did encounter the ram companion from last year but because i had no bait and i wasnt willing to spend 600 PLUS FRIGGIN MAANA for his bait i didnt catch him -_-

Event Companion(exploration): for the companion i only encountered it a total of 3 times the first time i missed and didnt catch him but on day 2 i actually did manage to catch him, i managed to also catch him a third time about a week later with a bait i didnt sell so for me atleast the companion had a bad drop rate but high catch rate (never been able to catch an event companion twice... never o_o)

The Story: didnt love it, didnt hate it, i only got 1/3 illustrations and the thing that pissed me off the most was at the end of the story i got ez saying theirs an egg in my bag for completing the event (and even my elda is like i recognize this light its the (insert event companion name here) but yea, no, i didnt win it -____- like seriously dont get my hopes up thinking i got the event companion when i really didnt friggin buttmoov

anyway just my 2 cents on this event

Can someone confirm whether the new legendary companion is animated or not?

I also got 2/3 illustrations for both servers, US & French (I kinda predicted this event outcome).
The surprising part for me is I got the illustrations with Ezarel + Valkyon as well as MC + a forced damsel-in-distress in this server, meanwhile, I got Leiftan + Nevra instead of Ezarel + Valkyon in .fr server :c

Just stop making this type of event ever again.
We hate random answers for dialogues & random area for dropped items. They suck.

I didn't get all three illustrations even though I followed a guide and I'm certainly not buying the missing illustration for that price. The story felt extremely rushed and that totally ruined it for me. It had a great potential tho The clothes are pretty but expensive or hard to obtain. This year's Halloween felt kind of boring to me tbh. There wasn't much to do... but the illustrations were pretty liked them a lot.

Halloween was my favorite event in past years, but I didn't care for it this year. It really felt like a chore. I hatched my blobbiathan, but ended up not even using all of its energy most days.

Since items were just everywhere on the map, it took all the fun and anticipation out of exploring. There was no way to target a location for an item I really wanted, so in the end, I hardly even looked at what my companion brought back. Which, considering the drop rate was so low and it was hard to even get really good stuff, wasn't even that much, and there was only one new outfit to get excited about anyway, so. Meh.

I only got 1/3 illustrations on the mini episode. I'm bummed about it, but at least I got the outfit, I guess.

The only thing I really liked was the older outfits weren't in the shop which means there are finally takers for that stuff on the market and I've been able to sell a handful of older items.

The outfits were alright, but I missed the earlier ones a bit.
Other thing I didn't like was the map arreangement, which made it impossible to target a specific clothing item. Also, the drop rate was quite low compared to other years. I guess it's because there were less outfits there to find.
The familiars were good, and I met the new one more than once, so at least I got that one. I think I met the old familiars too, but as far as I'm concerned, the baits weren't on the map, so I didn't have the chance to catch them without spending maana. I didn't mind that much though, because at least we could finsd them, which is not always the case.
Overall, it wasn't a bad event, I just enjoyed it less than previous Hallowen ones, even though I was happy for the new story element - I just wish it was implemented differently. (And why did they leave some details vague? I would be interested in finding out what really happened with Cornelia in HQ. Maybe they will incorporate that into the main story and that's why?)

I've already posted my thoughts in the other Halloween thread (basically echoing what others have said), but the addition that I'd like to make is that the event was at least playable. There were elements that we all wanted, and there was no alchemy.

I'll admit that it was a bit frustrating that we couldn't consult the guides, but part of me thinks that that was interesting. We couldn't 'cheat' per se, and there was an element of difficulty to it. I agree that 150 gold was a bit steep a price to buy remaining illustrations, but I can appreciate that it became more of a game that you had to think about (as opposed to all of us ticking just ticking off boxes to get the prize in a robotic fashion). I'm guilty of doing that for every event as well. I didn't like leaving it up to chance, but I did enjoy the challenge.

It actually wasn't so bad this time, there have been worse events so I think this was a bit of an improvement. I was pretty satisfied, but confused by the story. It revealed something involving Miko's past about her using dirty methods to become the leader of the Guard but doesn't clear up those claims or confirm if it's canon or not. So was Corneilia or whatever telling the truth? The ending also seemed rather abrupt. Does that mean it's not over yet? Is there more to come? Does it just stop there? Is my dog reading my diary behind my back? I hate not having answers!!!!

The Halloween event was my favorite event for the longest time, but this year was kinda meh... I missed the old set up of the exploration map, this year the drop rate was really low and everything was at random and my companion came back with nothing so many times even though it has a high luck rate.

Also i opened a group chat on GroupMe for Eldarya users, to share event spoilers, and just chat about Eldarya related things.
