Wow this is an absolute shit move BooMoov :) Man it sucks how are we supposed to play the minigames if there is no access to the event :) Nice one, really. Kinda hope it is a mistake but as someone said earlier that it is happening on multiple servers so can't be just that.

How the heck am I supposed to get my daily shells if you block it with your crap flash sale? This is really ticking me off. You better give us an extra day of the event. I was already pushing it to get all three outfits and then you go and pull a garbage move like this.

And if this has been happening on multiple servers you REALLY have no excuse.

Like someone else said, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did it on purpose, seeing how little Beemov cares about its consumers. It’s probably just another tactic to force us to buy gold or not get the rewards. Typical of them. First they made MCL completely not fun, and they’re working on Eldarya too. And let’s not even mention the stupidity of a system that is their vampire game.

The flash sale item isn't even GOOD! It's just dumb freckles!

I would be more upset about this if it weren't so absurd. Is this a Beckett inspired otome game? "Waiting for Beemoov"? Just the sheer ridiculousness of them (probably) forgetting that they programmed this sale (that no one even wanted in the first place) to happen in the middle of an ongoing event...

I would find it hard to believe that this was intentional and that they won't offer some sort of compensation for the lost time. But I'll save my reaction until we know for sure what their response will be

This event was already a joke with the fact you need 20 shells for an outfit piece and the timed mini games, as though we don't have jobs and lives, but now we Can't Even Access The Event!! Honesty I'm a person that tries to stay positive about Beemoov but this is straight ridiculous. Ya'll better extend your event to make up for this!! Or lower shells needed for items, this event would have been great with the items being 10 shells, 20 was just a petty cash grab.

it means they didn't test having a flash sale simultaneously with an actual event

if you look at the flash sale page it's /event/flashsale
they've never had more than one event button that pops up in the top bar.

it just means nobody planned ahead or thought about the fact that they didn't program the site to accommodate simultaneous events.

if you live in the US, the problem might be fixed by the time we wake up.

I also had the thought of them doing it on purpose to make more money.

Been here 2 years now. They've given us compensation for smaller issues than this when it comes to events gone awry so I would not take that bet.
They've extended events even when the issue was not experienced by everybody.
The fact that all servers are experiencing an issue that's brought the event to a halt, I don't doubt they'll give us something.

Well I have been playing beemoov games for three years now and I remember that they often did not give any sort of compensation after trouble in events.

So I wouldn't be surprised, if they simply ignored it

It is inconvenient for sure but I'm sure it'll be fine. They haven't done anything like the flash sale before, from what I remember, so they probably didn't test it properly when releasing. Or maybe they wanted to test it now to see how it works when an event is already ongoing.

I'm sure it'll be fixed soon enough and if not, we'll probably get the shells for today or one more day at the end. Or at least I hope so.

Am I surprised? No.
Is it embarrassing? Yes.
One has to think ahead in general, especially a gaming company with events like these.

Using the flash sale with the event code was a mistake...Did no one point out the possible hindrance it could cause? No one planned ahead? No one tested it?

Okay that makes sense. Still it sucks that they did not test it out and now the players are frustrated.

The thing is, that when you test something you don't use the item that is being used by the users, you use something that has no conexion with what the users are using. They should have tried it in a private server before applying it in the official servers. This is an extreme example, and I know the consecuences are really far from being similar, but imagine a plane company decides to change the software on their planes and test it in commercial planes that are working. That wouldn't happen, would it? It's just common sense to not test things in the working items. I know it's just a program for a game and that is not going to make any real difference if it works or not, but even in school you have to test what you've done to see if it works before submiting it, why wouldn't a company who is making money with said program wouldn't test it before giving it to their consumers?

Have you ever coded an entire game website? I'm guessing no.. Coding isn't easy don't even try to imply that. Mistakes happen and finding them is hard and nearly impossible before the code has actually been implemented.

And no they aren't charging money, it's still completely free, spending money is a decision you make on your own.

From what I can see, they placed this flash sale thing as an event while coding and in turn it messed up this event when it appeared.
So they did do a mistake with that. Had they coded it as something else then it wouldn't have happened.
Another mistake is probably that they did not think of having two separate buttons for this type of situation: one for an ongoing event and one for the flash sale which might appear during any event.

They're human. They made a mistake. They'll surely fix that mistake.
Hopefully they'll fix the flash sales in a way that they never interfere with an event again.

Just be patient, guys.

Apparently the summer event will be extended until September 9 at 11:59 PM EST so we will have one extra day because of what happened.
