Logged in today expecting the Halloween event and instead I see this...

So Ezarel and Valkyon are just dead then? Nevra may be my fave, but... I’m just not sure what to think. Nice to see Chrome grown up. But no more Miiko? Just scrap and replace a bunch of characters is what I see.

Now that's what I call a serious improvement! 3 stooges, I mean love interests were almost as bad, never questioning her stupid and irresponsible decisions, but she was the worst.

So I'm not the only one disliking her? Well that's... not surprising. Now the question is, will the replaement be any better? Honestly, in season 1 nobody was particularly bright, so maybe she really was the best person for th job.
But then, while all cast was kinda on the stupid side, hardly anyone was that unlikable, so I'm a bit optimistic.

Last year it started on the 23rd. And I think it's always started on a Wednesday it'll either be the 21st or the 28th, unless they change the day of the week.

Also, I just noticed that this new trailer isn't posted in a thread on the french forum? Isn't that odd? It wasn't on the front page or anywhere that would make sense to post it. Was this a trailer for everyone but the french audience? Maybe only for the servers with much lower activity?

Not really pleased to see Valk and Ez being tossed to the wind. I loved Valk and to see him being removed... like another character from My candy love.... it hurts. Not really looking forward to playing new era. I might just finish what I can in origins and that's it.

I really hate how they scrap people in between 'updates'. Especially fan favorites...

Idk, Huang Hua is the  leader of fenghuang people, she should be busy in her own land. But, that would be common sense, and eldaryans don't have too much of it.
  Archives say Miiko and Huang Hua were leading rebuilding of HQ, and later that Miiko left. Then in no.4 it mentions "our female leader". That could mean anybody, but sounds like a new person, because why wouldn't they just call her by name otherwise. Still, I might be overinterpretating it.

My guess is the new kistune character Koori might be the leader.
She's the only other new character they've introduced other than the love interest.

and ... they pulled a candy time skip different designs and losing a love interests did they not learn for there first attempted

I wanna see where the story and the characters are heading to but the dating aspect doesn't interest me. I'm angry about dating options being cut off but I will give it a try at least... meh.

When it comes to story&romance, they lost me in ep.13 (for those who didn't get there: it was where guard leadership and mc were at peak stupidity). I played episodes mostly for unlocks since then.

But I'm also a bit curious were will it go, and new designs look interesting (except Mathieu, I find looking a him painful, idk why), so I'll definitely play new episodes as soon as I'll can, even if only to laugh at it.

Same. That was the turning point for my plays as well. After that, it was maybe to see if they will fix the problem and after episode 15 or so I just played for the new map locations and companions. And it only got worse for me so I completely stopped playing because I saw no use anymore. Considering who my LI was and how they are not even in the second season, I could care less that I stopped playing back then.


The new season I will only play to, again, unlock map locations and companions and of course, play the events ( if I like them ). Unless they mess it up with the new mana system. Can't play it then if I have to feed companions and buy their food, incubators, and other things with mana.

I know it's useless but at this point I just want my character to go home. Dang she goes throught all that drama then has to save the place again. It seem she can't catch a break, is there going to be another person kissing our character that we didn't ask for?

What is it with beemoov and getting rid of love interests when they timeskip/make a new season to their games?

Y'all never learnt from the first time you did it with MCL? MCL still sucks ever since y'all did that, and now you're gonna do it again here, lmao. This is sad oof.

I'm very glad that I read the spoilers about what happens to Valk at the end. He was my only favorite. I didn't like the others at all. I've played this game for a while now. First MCL and then Eldarya. Even though I'm only on episode 8 right now, I had another account in the past where I went up to episode 14. It's really a shame that I spent money on this game. The money and my time wasted can never be taken back. There was MCL too...With that said, I've learned my lesson for the second time now. I will never waste my time and money like this again without knowing the ending or waiting it out.

So, with that said, this is goodbye.

The beginning was nice...the middle was a rollercoaster...and the ending was just horrible altogether.

WOW so they pulled the same move as MCL, huh? I'm really glad I stopped playing the story then... I will never forgive them for throwing Lysander in the trash. Glad I was not invested in this story.
Looks-wise don't like the Nevra + Leiftan redesigns. Who asked for them anyway? But well If most people actually playing are on board, I have no reason to complain.

Chrome though... Chrome is stunning and it's a shame he's not a dating option. Oh well. I wouldn't play, anyway. And I suppose there's always fanfiction.

Like... Really... Why do I always loose the characters that I love...? First Lysander in MCL and now Ezarel...?

This is pretty much the same why I don't like Disney's Pocahontas 2. I generally don't like that my Happily Ever After is going to get butchered. Why most of the people play these otome games or watch Disney? I bet my money that we want our happy stories, we want our girl to get her prince. After so much emotions, declarations of love etc. it's almost like this next chapter is just slapping us in our faces. Like "Your girl loved this man? Well too bad, find someone new!". In real life that might work, people can love again, but we don't read fairytales to get realistic stories. We read them because they are, indeed, fairytales.
