The main thing I'm excited for?
THE CLOTHESI'm FINGERS CROSSED HOPING that the outfit AND the new hair we've seen
in both teasers is the new default outfit we get by starting the story
like the civilian outfit for "season 1." Or that it's at least unlocked
for free early on in chapter 1. Like a couple clicks into the chapter.
This hair is so much nicer than the shag look.
I'm very happy with the design.
The Outfit
As an outfit connoisseur
who is here %99 for the clothes Let's look at what we have here
My hope is that of what's visible that there's 6 clothing pieces here.
1 coat
1 top
1 pants/socks
1 necklace
1 gloves or hand accessory (if it's classified as "sleeves")
1 belt
It's possible the belt could be part of the coat. It's also possible
that the gloves could actually be "sleeves" attached to the top
much like the ogress outfit's sleeves. So there's at least
4 new clothing items here if both are the case.
Another possibility is the pants might be a jumpsuit
like the holy knight onesie cuz that neckline is weird
if the v-shape and the straight line are both part of the same piece.
I hope it means the v-neck is the only part that's the top
and something underneath it is what has the horizontal line behind the v-neck.
Then there's a second outfit featured in the trailer
which has pieces from this outfit they've teased
for being a new store-only outfit (which I am FINE with that.
This outfit is worlds better than any of the current store outfits)
That Outfit
I have both the image from the trailer and the first
teaser pic from an older announcement post for comparison.
The first teaser was very much an outline vs here we can see it in full color
I love the fiery energy that seems to be connecting the two metal pieces of spear.
I love the shapes and the colors and glad we get more armor.
I hope the color variations look just as good because there's a couple questionable
color variation choices of the final outfit from season 1, that armor set.
I had to make the comparison to see if there were any new clothing pieces
hidden in the new pic, but no, it seems to only be the pieces from the
one new shop outfit. But it's cool to finally see it larger and in more detail.
This outfit it's harder to tell how many new pieces might be visible
There's at least:
1 hand accessory
1 gloves
1 socks/bottoms/shoes (whichever it ends up being classified as)
Here's were the guesswork comes in. The rest could be one piece
But I hope that's not the case.
My guess: The metal at the mid section is a belt most likely
along with the little strands coming off it around the waist.
The cream colored fabric might also be part of the belt, or it's
separate and merely underneath the belt since it's above and below it.
The shorts part looks like it extends up to the breast on the right side
My guess is that it might be underwear
and then the shoulder pads might be a coat.
It's possible the cream fabric could be a separate belt or it could be
part of the piece I think is the underwear.
The gloves could also be two separate pieces. The gauntlets
could be gloves or hand accessory by themselves
and then the fabric underneath is could be gloves
I kinda hope they're separate but they might not be.
The difficult part is the neck. Stylistically it looks like it'd be
part of what I think is the underwear, but it looks like it might overlap
the shoulder pads on the chest. It could be a separate necklace but it doesn't
quite look that way.
One possibility is the metal on the chest isn't part of the shoulder pads
but it's also part of the underwear, and then the neck part could be
part of the shoulder pads, which would explain how it could overlap the chest metal.
So based on my guesswork
I think in the trailer pic it's
1 coat
1 underwear
1 belt
1 gloves
2 hand accessories
1 socks/shoes
From the second pic which is more complete, it's hard to tell if the part
on the legs is one or two pieces. If it's one piece it's shoes
If it's two pieces it's socks in the trailer pic
The pieces not in the trailer are
1 hat
1 hand accessory (shield)
and I hope one of the pairs of horns are separate from the helmet
obviously at least two of them are part of the helmet
but if two are separate and just horns by themselves
then that would give us 2 hats for this outfit
and I love that curly hair. Looks perfect for a hermione cosplay.
I haven't played through a majority of the story
There's a girl with a rainbow goat horns you see peek into frame
Is she new or did she appear before?
For some reason she makes me think of Nina from MCL
