Okay I've been all over the map and only found 2 frosted whisper items. Is it glitched?

God the drop rate for the frosted whisper outfit is sooo bad, idk if I'll manage to complete it ):

It's not glitched, the issue is that the new outfits' drop rate is pretty low compared to the other items from older events. You'll have to spam the map locations multiple times until it'll drop one of the new outfit pieces. I suggest checking out the event guides since they give you the exact locations, in case you haven't done that yet.

This event is almost over, and I've literally only found 2 tokens TOTAL, the entire time.......... what is going on, fam..

I'm trying to get clothing items from a specific location but every single visit today has been a companion encounter.
I want it to go away T_T
give me clothes.

This event has been horrible. Was someone able to finish it? I don't think so. Not if you have a life and you don't want to spend your paid on useless explorations.
My companion has a high percentage of luck and I couldn't finish one single outfit. I haven't even found ONCE the new companion, but that wasn't essential to me.
Horrible.
I will really try to not play the next event because they're always the same old events and they always have too many troubles.

Most of us finished the event fairly easily (which is why we filled the community meter quicker than normal). The drop rate for new items was the problem. I think Beemov needs to consider retiring some of the older outfits that no one wants on the market. There's too much junk to pick up on the map and it prevented a lot of players from completing the newer outfits in matching colours.

i finished the event a few days back and honestly, it was okay.

was there a story i missed or there was none this year?

the outfits are so good and i love all the new outfits.

my cat is observing as i type out and she seems confused and now something from the table fell hEWLP

anyways, i had hard time with the exploration and i still have not gotten all the items in the colors i wanted

as other guardians have had brought it up,

Well, I've got 3 items from Frosted Whisper, none of which are any I want (I still need to pray I can track down the right hair color), but it's the Mictfig I'm praying for in these final moments. It's absolutely precious. If I can get the little guy, I'll consider the event a success.

Got the illu in like 2 days, but I'm still missing a lot of outfit pieces. My companion has a 350 luck bonus and still I had to buy most of the frosted whisper outfit in the market. Pleaseee improve the drop rate for future events

People complain about the drop rates of the new clothes not being higher.

Exploration is literally designed to be like playing the lottery. "The drops should be higher" but they were designed to be lower on purpose. I'd love the lottery if it was easier to win...duh.

Even if the only piece left at a location is the item you want in the color you want, you still can come back empty handed. The event is designed around random chance driving you to collect the items you want because you can't get them. If you easily got the items you were looking for then that means you'd stop playing after you succeeded.

Any game that has any collectables that are obtained through random generation are just emulating the lottery.

Because it's random, one year you personally might get really lucky in event exploration and think beemoov changed the game to make it better drop rates, when really they changed nothing and you just won the lotto more often by chance.

Outfits

Frosted Whisper
This outfit is stunning and it's one of the best outfits I've seen on Eldarya. I really love how it takes on this crystal and glittery look so it makes it look like ice and snow. The hair is very pretty and it has a nice fanned out look. I normally don't like two-toned hair because it is very often that the colors that are put together don't look good, but choosing white for the second color was smart since it's such a neutral color that it will go with everything. I also love how the ends have a sparkle to it so it makes it look like snowflakes got caught in their hair. The underwear is very pretty as it has a nice sheer look to it and is made up of a bunch of crystals that appear like ice. The shoes are so stunning and I think they are one of the most detailed shoes that we've ever gotten. I love all the crystals hanging off of the shoes that again, make it look like ice. The cape is another piece that is so stunning and probably my favorite of the pieces. We've had quite a few capes, but they tend to look a bit similar (ex: stealth crow cape and misty rogue long cape) but this one is so unique. I love how the cape is attached to an elaborate headpiece that also has a few crystals hanging off of it. The veil is another stunning piece that also has some nice crystals hanging off of the arms. The necklace is another elaborate piece and it has crystals hanging from the neck all the way across the arms. The dress is also gorgeous. The crown is also beautiful and I love how it has a crystal in center as well as two dangling down. Something else that I also like is that the cape, veil, and dress all have the same shimmery white strip all along the edges to make it look like it got covered with snow. You know this is a good outfit when I want it in almost all of its colors.

Gift Bringer
This is another great outfit. I like the hair and how it has a long loose curl. The shoes have a cute design (fluff w/ three bows), but I feel like most of the colors that it was paired with look bad, which makes me wish that they had just colored the bows while the rest of shoe was left entirely white. The incense is nice and although there was an incense item given as a monthly gift, I do like how this one comes with different colors. The coat is beautiful with all of its intricate pattern at the top and bottom of the dress. I also really love the long sleeves that also hold that intricate pattern. The dress is a bit plain, but I do like that there is a little pattern added on the sleeves. The crown is 'meh' to me, I think they used too much different colors and the only one I like is the white one (probably because it has less colors). I like the veil, although we've already had one at the Valentine's event (sky priestess hood), but I like this one much more. The belt is also another 'meh' one to me, but I do like the moon hanging from it.

Christmas Witch
This outfit is so cute, and it was such a smart idea to combine Halloween with Christmas. My main issue with this outfit is that it's shop only. I don't get the thought process with this; it should have been available in exploration. The hair is pretty boring, but I do like how the eyebrows appear to be furrowed. The hat is super cute with the typical witch look, but has the Christmas fluff at the edges and the holly. The sleeves are fine, it continues the Christmas theme. The cape is super cute and I like how it's short. The skirt is also super cute and I like how there are potions attached to the belt. The boots are nice. The blouse is super cute and I like how it looks like there's a upside down Christmas tree design on it. The broom is a smart idea, but has bad execution. I think it would have looked better if it was a pine tree that wasn't decorated, or at least wasn't decorated with the garland.

Santa's Sleigh Driver
This is the worst outfit of the bunch, which is great since it's a bank outfit. I'm not a big fan of the axe, I think it would have looked better as a spear with the giant bow. I'm also not a huge fan of the hat, but I've never been a big fan of that style of hat. The cape is nice, but it's a bit too similar to the Christmas Witch cape. The gloves are nice, I like the star detail on the fluffy part. The belt is fine and it's nice to have more pouches included in belts. The shorts are nice, I like the fluffy part at the edges. The shirt is nice and it does have a solider feel to it. The shoes are atrocious, they are such an amalgam of too many different designs and colors. The socks are fine, there's not much to say about them. The hair is really cute, I like how it has some flair to it instead of it just being straight. The ears are nice, but we've had similar ones to Halloween (pointy ears)

Companions

Mictfig
This is such an odd looking companion and while I admire the creativity of trying something new, I'm not a huge fan of it. The companion also makes me think of Mimic from the Dragon Quest games.

Gindeerbreyd
This is a really cute companion and it's not a bad idea to combine a reindeer-type companion with holiday treats. My only issue with it is that it looks a bit similar to the Lamulin companion from the Valentine event in terms of appearance as well as having a sweets theme.

Mini-game
The snake mini-game was fine and while I am tired of Beemoov constantly reusing the same mini-games, I am super glad to see that it was used only for an illustration than for clothing. I prefer looking for the clothing through exploration since I can get multiple pieces without having to pay extra. I really hope Beemoov starts doing this instead.

Illustration
The illustration is fine, but it's nothing to be disappointed in if you don't get it. One thing I do like about it is seeing how the differences with the boys in how they wrapped the presents and how it fits with their personalities.

Exploration
I'm glad to see the event mostly focused on exploration and while it is a tad annoying trying to find the new pieces with all the other clothing pieces from years past. I still am really glad to be able to snag some things I missed from past events. I can't say much about the drop rates on the bait or companion since I never explored in their locations.


Overall I did like the event. The clothing pieces were really nice and I'm glad that the mini-game was for the illustration and not for the clothing. The only thing I didn't really like about this event is having one of the outfits only being in the shop and how short it was. I think the event would have benefitted from having two or three extra days (especially since this event was only 10 days while the Halloween was 13 days).

Tbh I was actually glad we got all previous free outfit pieces on the map because it allowed me to either complete some outfits I didn't have yet completed or collect more color variations of various items that could come in handy for future unique outfit designs I might want to try. Even if for you it might've been annoying to have all these items, it's rude to call them "junk that shouldn't exist on the map", since some of us might actually find them very useful for what we need/want in order to create something.

I think that the best solution wouldn't be removing all older items from the maps (since having only 2 or 3 outfits on the map like with the summer event becomes really boring and lackluster very quickly in the long run since it's not varied), but rather they should've made it so that in the locations with the new items the rewards should've been split in 1 old item and 1 new item rewarded per exploration (since they limited the rewards ratio to 2 items per exploration), so that it would've been more even and less frustrating for those who looked for specific color variations in the new event's outfits.

I'm sorry if you took it as rude, but I didn't mean it in that way. A lot of the older items appear on the market frequently and a lot either sell for minimal manna or not at all. It's just the general consensus, but I appreciate that some players do want those items. At least you'll be able to complete your collection easily throughout the year

I miss the days when events got extended. I don’t know why, but I got very little this event. My companion has done great in previous events! This was the first event where I didn’t complete the event outfits. Even checking guides, it took forever just to get new pieces. I’m used to getting more than two pieces of clothing when my companion goes out, and that was not the case. Also for some reason, I never got any food items either. Just wondering if anyone else noticed this. The event is over, and so is my chance to buy outfits in the store.

I really liked that store prices weren’t limited to just coins. That was really great, although I didn’t buy as many articles of clothing as I wanted because they were a bit spendy. Just hoping these outfits are back next year because I got very few pieces.

Edit: As much as I enjoy old clothing, I do think some outfits need to be retired from the map. The Christmas event is something we get every year, so there is plenty of clothing to be found. However most areas are above 250 for clothing pieces! Of course, they could still be offered in the store (for less maana please). However the quality of new outfits keeps getting better! Which is great, but some older pieces just can’t compete. At least retire all the bracelets and tiny accessories that are hard to see.
Also, I never came across the companion, which was weird. I didn’t want it, but I never saw it or it’s bait.

A glitch I forgot to mention, I do play on the app, but whenever I went to look at the illustration in the event page, the game would shut down. So I haven’t been able to see the complete illustration. I was able to find a lot of tokens. I’m sad to see some people didn’t. I did also experience the snake game glitching and crashing. I was surprised the community meter filled as quickly as it did, but maybe it was set lower then the last one?

If you have not done so, try to find the illustration in your library from "A New Era".
If that does not seem to be the case, maybe you should reach out to support for that.

Same! first time I don't complete the exploration outfit, it sucks cause it's a really pretty one too. I think it's come to a point where there's so many outfits in the map that getting a specific one has become very difficult.
