Hello Guardians!

Following your feedback concerning the selection of the five new colors on A New Era, a new vote will occur.

Here is some useful information for the selection:

* None of the 20 colors already present on A New Era will be removed and 5 new colors will be added to the panel. 25 color variations will be offered for the future wigs.

* The colors that are already available on A New Era (icon “✓”), as well as the colors for which you can vote (number), are shown in the images below for a better visibility of the already available panel of colors.

* The white wig color (row 1, column 2), chosen by all the servers, will join the range of colors soon!

* One post per color will be created. We will begin with this topic for color #2. Once color #2 has been chosen, a new topic will be opened for color #3, then a topic for color #4 and finally, a topic for color #5.
* You can vote for color #2 until January 14, 2021 included. A new topic will be created on January 15, 2021 for color #3.

The color thing was a bit confusing (but also tired so maybe thats it) but thanks for the chance to choose new colors, my color is already in New Era so I just chose randomly.

Why aren't they adding all the colors? I don't understand the voting, just add all the colors.

I know I said too that the results of the previous voting were weird, but restarting the whole thing after I was relieved that Malva's number #13 was safe...
Everyone, please see the whole picture and vote for colours that don't have similar colours left in the new era version (for example #13 or #17) and not for the umpteenth "dark red" or "almost white"!

Add all the colors! T.T

I like that we get the opportunity to vote and have a say in this but I really miss the pearly white color! It was my favorite... I also don't really understand why the voting and not just go with all of these?

I support this style of voting for each color. It lets everyone get a chance to vote for every color! And eliminates competition for the next color when a color is decided. I can vote for my favorites, and actually have a chance to get it approved each time.

I too wish you weren't taking away any colors. Or perhaps if you wanted to have fewer wig colors, have players vote on 5 colors they do NOT like and have those removed permanently, since there are a few colors most rarely used.

But if you're going to decrease the amount of colors this much and let us decide, I'm glad you restructured how we're voting and making it clear what colors are already available

I'm voting for 13 every time if it doesn't win a round

Well this is a nice surprise. I'm glad we get another opportunity to vote, time to try once more for those in between shades like 13 and 17 that are unique. Please everyone vote for the colors that are actually different from the ones we already have. When I voted, a already saw that numbers 2, 3, and 8 had the highest percentage, and I don't understand the reasons for that. 2 is just another off white color, and 8 is so close to the default color that it's ridiculous. Is everyone color blind or is it just me?

Also wish we could just go ahead and make all four of our votes. I'd think it would be more accurate that way because some of us may vote on the same colors but at different times. For example, I might pick 13 for this first choice and 17 for the next choice, but other players might pick those same colors in the opposite order.

Just so everyone knows, I will vote for 13 every round until it wins, then 17 will be my next choice. So if anyone wants to help those unique colors win, this is my method for it.

I want to save 8 and 18, I'm writing it here because it would be cool to know other people choices before casting my vote, so votes don't go to waste   and we can actually help each other to save some specific color instead of getting three tones of redhead or blonde...

Still, this is unfair, but I'm glad we can actually check what colors are already available.

It's nice you let us all vote on this, but why is there no name for those hair colours? I am being very serious that would help a great deal for me. I have no idea what to call hair colours here. Simply saying blonde or red when there are many is no help at all. Can they please be named too?!

#3 is number one. #8 & #13 are tied.

So Here are the current standings the US server 2:13pm EST

I cut off the numbers on purpose because all the numbers higher than those in the image don't have enough votes to be contenders in this round

On the French server, looks like, #1, #2, #3, or #13 is going to win

On our server it looks like #2, #3, #8 or #13 is going to win.

Personally, of the top four in both, I'd be fine with 2, 3, or 13 winning this round. All are good choices.

I hope to goodness 1 doesn't win ANY round. We have two good whites and it's too similar to the color right next to it. Are people that obsessed with white they need that other one? And while I can see the slight difference between default brown and #8, I don't think it's worth picking that color over at least a dozen of the colors we could lose if it wins across servers.

So unless you're watching servers other than this one and the French server, a vote for 8 this time could still be a losing vote unless other servers are putting it in the lead

Unless, they tally the votes across all servers and the most votes among all players wins?

Also, what the heck? The original voting there were only 23 colors we chose between, and the winning one was kept as "round 1"
Now we have a total of 24 colors to choose between?? There should be only 22 to choose between. What 2 phantom colors did they add to voting for this now 2nd round?

I don't understand why people are so obsessed with those white shades either. I'm a little sad to see 17 (teal blue-green color) not doing so well, as it's one of the only completely unique colors along with 13.

Wondering on why people is voting for 3 when I though people was tired of not getting actual black color and now we have jet black in NE... (and I know I want 8 but ok, I can give up).

Is kind of frustrating because team tends to change colors slightly every here and there depending of the design of the wig so the tone is different in some cases or introduce limited colors in some events like this pink for example.

Pretty much yes, this is what I'm talking about the Freya wig.

Yes, every single event wig has one unique color variation
that's slightly different from the main usual ones.
I only learned this a couple months ago, despite having played for 2.5 years.

But you can see from the summer event these colors were the unique to the specific wigs.
You can't find these colors in any other wigs. They're one of a kind.

If you think these are just normal colors, you can compare them to the old common 41 colors
and see the slight differences. Like the blue one is more saturated than either of the normal light blues.
The strawberry blonde is darker than the lightest pink, but lighter than the darkest pink. It's somewhere in between.

The one you pictured from easter is the color unique to that wig. Below is the color unique to Ogress wig


Here's some other unique colorations from other events. I only picked a few random ones to show here
that I could tell immediately which color is the unique one when looking at all the colors next to each other.


More recently, in the forum post for the event, where they show off the new outfits, the color of the hair pictured
with the outfit will be the unique color variation for that specific hair.

The fact that they're decreasing the hair colors to 25 though makes me think
we will never again get these unique color variations that I think exist in every single event wig,
correct me if I'm wrong.
