I can buy gold if I want, but that's not an option for everyone. This is actually a really good idea. Sure it's a little pricey effort wise, but considering gold is a currency you normally buy with real money, it's understandable. I love this idea, and I hope Beemov makes more choices like this. I'm more willing to spend my money when the company takes care of the people who can't.
i have to say, this is a good idea.
f2p players like myself can't get gc except from bindles, and even then it's a tiny amount that's never gauranteed. with some patience, i can get the maana and ingredients saved up to make it.
i have 7gc currently, all from a year of bindle opening, so i've definitely spent hundreds of maana more for a lot fewer gc.
sure, the maana amount is large, but gc are cash-bought currency up until now. this is a much better alternative to spending upwards of 40 maana a day for a 5% chance at just 1gc.
the ingredients list is a bit daunting, i'll admit, but the items can be found in exploration or in the marketplace for cheaper than the store price.
i look forward to being able to buy more past event outfits, too. most, if not all, of the best event items were available in the store - for gc only.
tl;dr - sure, a bit pricey, but with a lot of patience, it's possible. and it's great for f2p players who could previously only get gc from bindles, since it's way way less of a maana drain on us.
