There is one more thing I found which doesn't make me like this event:  why not let us sell the items we find?

I want to sell the ones I got to players who actually want to finish this event or some clothing sets. For cheaper than at the shop, of course. It's sad I can't do that and that the items will stay in my inventory (highly possible) as a reminder of this event.

That bothers me too. We're supposed to be able to sell items we find on through exploration, but apparently that's not entirely true.

From the help section:
Only items that are found during explorations can be sold at the Market.

I keep on getting the Obsidian scrolls rather than my current one orz

This is not even funny, forcing me to get the most horrendous outfit out of the four after this current one.
Are you making a fool out of me, system?

Grrr... this event is so freaking stressful 'cause it forces us to use our maana reserve to buy some of the items or maybe all of the items (because the combinations changed based on the clothes pieces).

Did anyone calculate the maximum number of maana wasted in this event to buy the alchemy items (estimation, of course)?

Yes, on the first post of this thread I made a calculation at point nr 4 and it's a crazy high amount of maana. My companion comes back empty handed since yesterday so I think I'm gonna stop trying this event

They ruined almost another game just for money...

This event is giving me no fun, it's all just endless frustration.
I've been spamming the EEL MAP for 3 freaking days trying to find the pink sewing kit and the essence of love but my companion keeps coming back with anything but that. This is getting ridiculous. It's like you're indirectly forcing us to buy the ingredients from the shop and waste all our maanas on that s***, as if using maanas for crafting and dye wasn't enough of a waste. Making us use maanas in events is laughable, a lot of people can't afford that. Events are supposed to be for all players, not just for old players or those who use the bank.

I love the concept, I think it's creative and interesting, but the way you implemented it ruined everything. The teams who are in charge of the outfits and illustrations did a good job, it's too bad their effort is wasted by such mistakes that could've easily been avoided if only you cared about what players really want, what they enjoy and expect from these events. 

Needless to say, this is the worst Eldarya event I've ever played and I hope you learn and grow from your mistakes.

PS : The Ezarel illu is a ray of sunshine in these dark times T_T

I've lost more than 1k mana buying the event items because I can't even find anything with a high energy and high luck companion.
Started with 3.5k+ mana and now having 2505 so including we gain 30mana for each day. well you can do the math

I don't know if someone has mentioned it or asked before, but is it at all possible to find the colouring item through exploration? Or do I have to buy it from the shop?

I've seen some on the market so I feel like you can, I'm not sure though

You get the background once you complete the event (finishing all the boys' outfits). It is in place of the companion, who we cannot get by completing the event - the companion is only available in the shop, for GC.

So we do get a reward. Okay. I might try to finish the event, in that case, because the BG is beautiful. (Dunno if I'll succeed, though. Started out with 2500 Manna and am now flat-out broke.)

Money money money....
Like most of us, I'm really disappointed by this event. I'll just do the bear minimum to get the image with my crush and his outfit but that's all.

I'm frustrated, that I won't get the outfits, the background but mostly the companion. Usually you'd have done the opposite, at least offer the companion in the end and sell the background image for golds.

Using the alchemy game was a terrible idea. But the worst idea was to make the crafting of the items require maanas AND making it necessary for us to buy coloring for the items. It's already hard to get the ingredients, but it's impossible for someone with no savings to complete the event.

You need 30 maanas to craft + 30 maanas for the coloring, you have 4 outfits of 5 items which makes 1200 maanas to craft all the outfits IF you manage to grab all the ingredients during exploration.

If you have a legendary fam, you have to spend 30 of your 50 daily maanas in the food.
If like me you can only connect once a day, you can only play the mini games once (let's say you gain an average of 25 maanas each day), you end up with 55 maanas/day

1200/55 = 22 days to complete the event.

You'd lose 22 days of maana savings (if you're lucky enough with the mini games) just to get those outfits in a specific coloring which are not the prettiest you've made in my own opinion, and a pretty background but no fam...
And that also mean that you won't be able to save maanas to progress in the story and that a new episode might go out in the mean time and possibly new exploration areas that you won't be able to access, and ingredients you won't get for the bindles. (yeah I'm going too far into my thinking now but you get my point ^^').

Marketing strategy hahaha! Anyway at least you didn't do the same in the MCL event...

Exactly what I said the other day. It's clear they set it up that way because otherwise players who can't afford the items in the shop might be able to get them more fairly priced from other compassionate players willing to help others out. They want to drive the desperate to pay them for more maana if they don't have enough. It's like I said, if BadMoov is so desperate then they should try Patreon or something. Players who love the game and want to support it to keep it going may be more willing to give through more honest means instead of these underhanded cash grabs deliberately designed to rip us off and practically punish those who won't/can't give them money. Of course this is a business and needs money to function, but that doesn't give them the right to do things this way. People respond more positively to honesty, and if they'd just communicate with us and seek our support then those of us willing to be understanding would be more likely to help.

I'm not wasting maana on this cash grab event

Depending on what guard your date is, that will be the scroll you'll need for the outfit

The best you can do is go into the shop and try the item on your character before making a decision in the alchemy part. At least you don't have to unlock an item before it shows up in the shop. That's one good thing about this event.
