That is such a good idea actually!! But itd be too much work in one persons hands I think. Sending the submissions to a admin account that the whole beemooc team has access to could work out maybe...but I don't really know how they do it so yeh..

I had forgotten to mention there should be 2-3 people working on this.
In my head it went like this: people have to say they are entering the contest, someone filters them (based on certain criteria), then they are divided into either alphabetically or by the date they were accepted (the newest, the last, etc.) or by their guards.

If they are by the guards, then a team (2 people per team) is assigned to them. It would be great if there was at least one person from that guard assigned, but the best is to choose someone who submitted a request to participate in the choosing, or a mod, or someone popular/trusted by us (like Rain, Seera, etc.).
This got complicated really fast. But a small team could have been organized. People we know, trust. Someone unbiased, that has nothing to win from all of this figuratively speaking.

[edit]I was thinking by guards is a good idea since it would make us work together on something. If, eg. Obsidian, did not have someone they could trust or enough members, then another Shadow and Absynthe would take over. Maybe an Obsidian could work with a Shadow on Absynthe's team. Idk, man, it would have been fun. Complicated, yes.
I wish they put at least a little more thought in all of this.

If I can come up with so many ideas and talk with all of you about them, they sure could have done a job 10 times better than me.

I think the reason that we have to email our submissions instead of posting them is so no one copies other people's entries/ ideas. I suppose emailing everything in makes it more fair to some extent, and I personally prefer it this way. But I agree with previous comments that the voting on FB was a poor choice on their part.
Hopefully in the future it will be better...

I thought that, too, but I feel even by chance, someone could choose the same outfit pieces as someone else (they didn't give us a theme, so it's probably less likely in this case) but I can understand that reasoning if they want entries to be more varied~

I think as long as you label the email subject as said, fill it out right, and follow the rules, you're good ^_^ You can also double check with the mods or someone who's got a better head than me though

Thanks for the info! I think I did what they've told. But how am I supposed to find a mod?  Sorry if I'm asking lots of questions I don't really use the forum.

Isn't it obvious though? Why does any company or business want likes on Fb? To reach more people. It serves as a free advert.
Basically the contest is just a promo. Which isn't a bad thing, since the winning price is pretty good in my opinion and the competition seems to bring a lot of people joy.

This was more challenging than I thought it'd be! I usually don't count the items I put on, and I almost always use animated and atmoshpere items.

It bothers me a bit that we can use up to 9 items and not an even 10 haha.

I find it curious that they ask us to list exact names of the clothes used. I weigh the word EXACT. A motivation for such thing could be simply forcing contestants to keep track on the number of the elements, but I have this feeling that they might use some programmed help. Such as;

- Monitoring appearances of identical costumes (and hence idea stealing).
- Monitoring which pieces are most popular.
- Monitoring trends.

Script like that doesn't sound too hard to write, at least what comes to the identical costumes part.

Or then I'm having conspiracy theories again.

Lol I thought they just needed that info to recreate the outfit instead of using the pics that are sent to them :'D

Your conspiracy sounds more interesting.

I assumed they needed the exact names of items in order to not pick the top 5 for voting who have the same items or at least majority of the same items.

Maybe they are using something to filter out items which are mostly named in those e-mails. I can see that being possible.

Another though I had was that maybe they will allow us to buy items for a few days which the winner wears. For that, I guess to shorten the search time and maybe due to possible layering in the style, they need specific names of all items worn.

Who knows

Man that was difficult. Using 9 items was fine because I normally use like 10, but I ALWAYS use atmospheres. It was hard for me to make a look that I liked without one. I only kinda like my final entry, so I doubt I'll make it to the finals.

There isn't really a solid way of making a fashion contest fair for members who have just joined.

There have been no contests in the contest hall forums since 2016. It would be nice if there was AT LEAST 1 new contest there a year. Monthly would be my personal preference.

Can anyone help me? I use Microsoft Edge (but also tried in Internet Explorer and Safari on my phone) and for some reason when I right click my avatar in both the home page and the profile area I do not get the option to save as a picture. In Microsoft Edge I only get
: Select All, Print, Read Aloud, View Source, and Inspect Element. I tried the Print option, but the best I was able to do was turn it into a PDF with a white background (which drowns out the skin I have!). Can anyone help me? I am scared to just take a screen shot because I do not have a plain background and they might disqualify me for that...

I think it only works for google chrome, I can't save the image on other browsers as well

Would also suggest changing your browser to Google Chrome. That way it works perfectly fine and you will have a decent browser as well. Edge is known to be the browser that allows you to get Google Chrome and forget it forever. For me, it doesn't even load anymore xD

Also it doesn't work on phones or at least I could never saved my avatar other than taking a screenshot of it. So you must use a computer + web browser (Eldarya is not a mobile friendly game currently).
