@Lat, what event item are you talking about? If it's the summer one 2018 (the sea queen one or whatever), then I think you need to choose the color then.
If it's the salty one, then you don't need the fish. You can skip the mission.
[edit] So the current one. I think you need to choose then. I have been afraid to close the window and try again, but I will try this on another person's account, only that it will take another 2 days to see.
Maybe someone else that tried will let us know.

The bream is not highlighted because it's not from a summer event...it was originally an item from the April fools event 2015
I'm really happy that they gave us the bream--been wanting it since forever--and this gives me hope that we are gonna be able to purchase other items that are only available on the French server.

@Guardian, the other 2 items I am pretty sure were highlighted. Everyone complained about there being no marks to show where we can find the item.
It's good that we receive old items back, but the Salty outfit has 11 pieces, the Summer event 11 too. We missed the shades from the old outfit, doesn't that mean we will have an incomplete outfit now?

You are right, there will be multiple pop-ups
Thanks to the team for this event! I actually like the idea of using real money to get the second outfit since the outfit is a bonus and coins/maana can be used for other things.

I managed to miss the start of the even. I've been on since the start but I somehow managed to overlook it.
I was expecting a lot more mini-games for this even but the little tasks have been pretty easy. The only time I couldn't do one the first day I had a free reset which was nice so I got it done in the end. Though I'm not a fan of the illustrations this time with having to cycle through those available and getting lucky on repeats. overall it's nice they are easier to get this time so they are at least showing some improvement in events at least.

You can skip specific item buying mission, for example, if you find it too expensive.
You can also skip Purral's bindle picking mission if he annoys you.
